Plaid it.

Hello, my dears!
It's the middle of the week here and I know that all (or almost all) belgians are excited cause they only have just another day of work, as they have a national holiday on Friday, so everything will be closed. Most of them I believe that they will be parting for the weekend...Well, not so much me as I have tons of stuff to do and the only time I'll be spending with my family will be my Sunday afternoon :). But I'm grateful for that as well you know..at least I have something to do, right?
But enough about work. Let's talk fashion...trends..this fall/winter..plaid looks :).
Yes, it's a very cool trend, plaid, but when I "build" an outfit starting from this idea, I try to keep the rest of my outfit very simple and, preferable, dark coloured .
That's what I did today, when adding a plaid printed scarf to the look.. I guess I'm going a bit crazy over scarves lately. :p

What I wore:
- Zara scarf
- Pimkie coat
- Mango booties
- Forever 21 bag
- Zara shorts
- Mango bracelet

  8. Oh my! ..... so very stylish, I love the look.....it is so chic..... the lovely plaid particularly, the very chic shorts, and of course the sheer tights and over the top super stylish boots..... and that hat........added to you beautiful braid says so much about your great taste and "look"
    so stylish…..

… you certainly make a beautiful statement….. and you are so very pretty...

I grew up in tights, being in ballet for 13 years. In fact, mom raised me rather androgynously, so I also wore tights under big sweaters and hip length tunics and such around the house growing up. Your lovely look reminds me of all those days….epsecially when the delivery man would come and I’d meet him at the door and he’s refer to me as Miss……
Oh, by the way, I’m a guy…and I love fashion as much as I love dance.
I traveled in Europe this past fall,
It looks like you have the same affinity for tights as I have…..

I’ve been raving to my new friends about how much I love the tights/shorts look, so they encouraged me to try it myself…
and I have in a big way,….. denim cutoffs, high waisted shorts, even a romper…….
I will following your blog religiously….. thanks for sharing your lovely taste and your beauty

Day at the office

Hi guys, Can you imagine that we've already arrived at the middle of the week? I know most of you work at the office and indeed, sometimes it gets lonely having to stay at home and not having a closet packed with office clothes, but I still wanted to show off a really cute office look that I personally would wear to work !  Since my Manfield shoes have a 70s vibe to them, I thought I should add a more feminine touch in the upper part of my outfit, just to sweeten the deal. Now these shoes can be worn in many ways and you can definitely play on the masculine style and wear them with a pair of pants, in a suit..you know, go full rogue in that direction. But here, I wanted to build a softer look. The shiny leather is quite an unique touch to the shoes and the thick heel makes them a comfortable pair of shoes that you can actually walk in and stay all day at the office. Add a pencil skirt, a pair of tights and an envelope clutch and you're good to go for this Fall !

What I wore:
